Continuing our Walkthrough of Hiede’s Tower of Flame we come to the Catherdral of the Blue where we fight the Old DragonSlayer, known to experienced Dark Souls’ players as Ornstein. As with the previous boss fight on this level, it’s pretty quick. Ornstein can still give an experienced player fits if they aren’t careful. Summoning helps and you’ll enjoy the benefits of it. There is no NPC to summon on this level, you either do it on your own or find some friends.
Once the Old Dragonslayer is defeated you can grab some items and talk to Targray, the head of the Blue Sentinels and a great merchant for miracle workers. You’ll also gain access to the Cathedral of Blue Bonfire where you’ll have plenty of opportunity for joining some serious PVP battles.
